I don't get ABC so did not see this interview but I do know that Condit most likely picked Connie Chung because he thought she would do a Larry King type fluff interview. To Connie's credit from what I am hearing this morning she did not play that game. Good for her in my opinion.

I couldn't agree more. He failed big time. I think his political career is over. He lied about many things: "Out of a specific request by the Levy family" --- whatever. They never requested that. Their lawyer put out a statement this morning saying that was a lie. I have no respect for him.

I didn't see it, but from what I heard she was pretty tough with him and that's a good thing.
She kept asking why he wouldn't do a police lie detector test, but he kept dodging the question. He kept talking about how the guy that did his test was a former FBI guy, etc.
It was a typical politician sidestepping and dodging the questions. The guy is real slick, but we all knew that.

Well I had the TV on and was too lazy to change the channel so I heard most of the interview. You know he's a liar as he was stumbling on a few of the questions and stuttering when trying to liar with his answer. Don't even know why he bother with the interview if he was going into any interview.

Although I think Condit had something to do with her disappearance, I dont know, so I cant say. But, Watching that interview was painful.. watching as connie floundered around, trying for 35 minutes to get him to answer one question... we all knew by the end, he wasnt going to answer, so why did she waste so much time trying?
The whole interview could be summed up like this:

Connie: Hi, how are you
Condit: Fine.
Connie: did you have sex with her?
Condit: I will not answer that
Connie: Why not.
Condit: I dont have to.
Connie: did you have sex with her? (repeat 20 times, worded differently sometimes)
Condit: I will not answer that. (also repeated)
