There's a restuarant like this in Boston too, except that it's american food (or german what have). Anyways, the point it that they have a plate where there is a big-ass burger (couple of lbs) and plate of fries (also couple of lbs) and if you finish it all you get your picture up on their wall and your dinner is free. I actually have a friend that finished it. There's another plate where th burger is even heavier than the first and there are even more fries, if you finish that then they name the burger after you. The only problem is... I don't remember the name of the restaurant. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

i finally got around to checking this place out today, let me break it down for you:

1. the place is kinda ghetto, but that's usually where you find the best food
2. their chips and salsa are great, salsa is a bit on the spicy side though :Q
3. the burrito is huge, it's roughly 12" X 5" X 3" and has quite a bit of meat :Q
4. happy hour is from 3-6pm, $1 margaritas and $2 beers
5. very friendly people there, it's always a bonus to be in a friendly eating environment

if you're in the area, you should definitely check it out.

I think my friend who is a firefighter can do it. A couple of years ago he ate 2 5lb burritos from Uncle Robbies in Montebello. I think it's time to give him a call. He's a BIG guy and was ever since we were little. One time when we were boxing with gloves on, he took my punches like "is that all?". Dont get me wrong here, my max bench press is 280lbs.

Psst-it's called Tex-Mex. Anyway it's not really Mexican. Just because it was created with "Mexican ingredients" doesn't make it mexican. That's like buying some onions from France, making up some insane dish with onions and French dressing, then calling it French food.(horrible analogy I know, but I can't think of any ingredients that technically belong to any specific country right now).

Anyway the only thing that's really Mexican in the burrito really(as in originated there) ingredients wise is probably the tortilla wrap...other things like "beef" can't really be attributed to Mexico =P

As for getting paid $50 I think the only person who can even ATTEMPT this is the Japanese dude who won that Nathan's contest and then was on Glutton Bowl(A FOX SPECIAL! =P) and ate 10 pounds of cow brain or something.
