You want a real Burrito???? For those in L.A area, go to Saticoy & Woodley Ave in Van Nuys.. There's a Mexican joint that has a 5 pound "real mexican burrito" with atleast 2-3 pounds of meat (Asada, Carnitas, Pastor, Buche, Etc) and its free if you finish it. Eat 3 of them, and they pay you $50.00!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the price you ask? around $7.00 each

And they also have real Chipotle salsa.. that its mmm mm mmmmmmm !!!!

North east corner is where you will see that place.. And come hungry.. if you want to eat for free or get paid

This beats the " buy one, get one free chipotle Burrito " babaayyy

this is like the green burrito--they had a standing bet against eating three of their burritos in one hour. they would give you $1000 if you could do it. i remember once i couldn't even finish one, and i had montezuma's revenge the next day to boot. burrito buyer beware!

I got the menu at work..,, i'll include the name of that place.. and i don't recall reading anything about time limit.. but im sure they will keep and eye on you while you eat just to make sure you dont toss it or share it with your friend or companion..

I had 1/2 burrito and mannn.. that thing is hugeeeeeee!!

even though i didnt have breakfast, i could only eat 1/2.. to say the least

Do you have any clue how much 5 lbs of food is? If it is truly 5lbs, they could offer someone a lot more than $50 for finishing 3, because its not humanly possible (unless its unearthly dense).

5lbs is wayy too much... it's like eatching 5 macho combo burritos... sure i can prolly eat 2 of those.. but not a many people can finish one..

you know this isnt real mexican food, just an american version of it (weren't burritos invented in texas?) heh heh.

for real mexican food you need to have tacos (de carne, sesos heh heh, of course fish), gorditas, sopes, etc. etc. soups like menudo and pozole of course too. my favorite, chile rellenos. the list goes on and on. i only go out to eat tacos, everything else my fiance's mom makes

What do you want to call it...American-Mexican food? I would say that a food created in America by Mexican people is still Mexican food. A food created with Mexican ingredients is still Mexican, regardless of orgin.

Pass the salsa.

I was going to ask if it was Distrito Federal Mexican Food but then I realized that was on Vanowen and Woodman, not Vanowen and Woodley

I don't think you realise how much 5lbs is... I could eat 3 of these, I'm sure, its just a matter of how many meals I plan on spreading it out over. Look at it this way, next time you are at the grocery store, go to the meat section and find the section of hamburger, proceed to find 5 lbs of it. Look at how much that is, then realise the rest of the burrito isn't even close to as dense as hamburger. One, I would be skeptical, but thats believable, but 2 is out of the question, I won't believe anyone that says they've eaten 2 (within one sitting, of course)

no, just call it american food. the hamburger was invented in germany, but we dont go to mcdonalds thinking we're going to eat german food. if i put salsa on my meatloaf or turkey sandwich, does that suddenly make it mexican food?

im just saying that mexican food is not taco bell, that's american food no matter what that chihuahua tells you

dude, whatever, just stfu already. you want him to call it american burritos? if he called it american food and then had burritos in here, someone else is going to say it's mexican food and blah blah blah. stop making this so difficult, people don't want to argue the history of food, they want to EAT food.

Stop trying to start an argument, you asstard. It's Mexican food, whether or not you want to piss everyone off with your anal retentive behavior on a technicality.

the hamburger as it is known today was invented it america...

Originally, hamburger meant only ?a fresh cooked or broiled meatball, ground meat steak or patty of meat served warm?. The secondary meaning, of ?a sandwich, patty in circular or square form between two bun halves? came into being in America
