My comments may sound harsh, but they're not undeserved. Its not the first time he's posted similar comments refuting or contradicting one of my posts w/out any back-up or support. If you're gonna tell me I'm wrong, at least back it up. If your favorite company blows a pile of mud, don't try and cover it up and make it smell like roses, tell it how it is.Originally posted by: gregor7777
you wouldn't be so ignorant to the truth
take it easy there big guy, where'd that come from?
This is just the first I've ever heard of a manufacturer selling bum 9700pro's, and you brought up the TX and gold versions which are clearly marked as such.
I certainly didn't see any helpful comments from either of you in the multiple posts titled "Just got my 9700pro, how can I find out its clock speed" or something to that extent. If you didn't come across the thread, thats fine, but without researching it how could definitively reject the possibility? The end-result of these threads is someone being very disappointed after talking to the reseller, Sapphire techs, OEMs whatever and finding out that they sell numerous OEM pro versions at different clock speeds. The only guarantee you have of getting a 325/310 9700pro is buying a retail card, period.
