Getting Disk Boot Failure ... message Help!!

I changed my video card and rebooted the computer. For the first time in seven years, I now get the messae "Disk Boot Failure, Insert System Disk and Press Enter."

I have checked the connections to my sata hard drive and they appear secure.

Any suggestions?

All help is very much appreciated as this is my work computer (self-employed) and I have no IT readily available.

Try the hard disk in another computer and try another hard disk in yours.

That will tell you whether the disk is bad.

...kind of basic trouble shooting.

first, make sure there is no disk in the floppy drive.

try putting the old vid card back in.

system specs/manufacturer would be a good idea too.
