Getting hacked, what to do?

One of my friends seem have been hacked, and had all her files exposed to some weird sick out on the net. He no persistently's logs onto her MSN and spreads emnity around, swearing at her friends and making threats to physically harm her.

I've done all I can without hacking the guy, told her to reload her firewall, install all the necessary updates and patches. I don't believe her computer is being hacked anymore, however her MSN is still. Any ideas as to how to stop this?

Didn't help, guy was persistant and continued. It's on a Network campus so I installed Norton Firewall, but no hardware router. The guy did finally admit it and called my friend through Rez. THanks for the advice guys.
