Getting P4 cheap
I'm getting :
P4 1.4 retail pack with 3 yr warranty
Intel 850 gb m/b w/ 3 yr warranty
128 mb rdram
in a bundle for Rs. 19000 = US $ 380
Should I go for it. I don't want oc. The board stands pretty good in Anand's roundup except for its lack of oc features. I beleive the price above is damn cheap.
Some say the 423 socket is already out but I think even the 478 won't last long, what with northwood, itanium, sledgehammer around the corner. With this proce, i can build a mchine at less than $800.
I've always wanted an athlon but there r no good hsf available in india. neither do dealers support athlon. there r reported heating problems as well
Anybody say anything about this? What do I do? Go for it?
