Getting rid of grub?

I recently installed Mandrake 7 on one of my computers. I've just formatted my harddrive so I can put Redhat and windows on the one drive, but it keeps going straight to GRUB.
Is there a way I can remove this?
Also I downloaded the redhat ISO image and tried to burn it onto a CD but got the message buffer underrun. When I try to boot it it isn't acknowledged. I'm pretty sure the CD has the boot image on it, is my cdburner or the file that's causing the problem?

for your format did you do fdisk /mbr?



that will restory your mbr, that might be your problem, i have no idea what grub is.

GRUB is another boot utility for Linux. The fdisk /mbr should get rid of it.
