Getting Wireless AP to work in network with Cisco Switch

I'm trying to help out my boss setup his wireless router (Netgear WGT624) to work along with our network. Network is setup on NT Server running on a Catalyst 2900. This what i think I need to do to get wireless access working in the office with Laptop Workstations which currently login to the network via WAN line connect to the switch.

Uplink Port on WAN to open Switch port! (
Disable DHCP on WAP (Switch is in charge of assigning Address)
Input Domain Name into WAP. It also has space of USER !!??

After this each workstation using a Wireless Card will login with user info just as if it was using
a WAN line.??

I can really make a big impression if i can get this done at work, so help and advise would be great.

The only other thing i can think of is to set you wireless router in Bridge mode. This would allow it to function as a regular Access point.

Otherwise, it sounds ok.

Hopefully you are aware of the risks associated with running wireless in a enterprise.

Make sure to use encryption with rotating keys. Turn your SSID off.
Use mac filtering.
