GF has never seen The Simpsons...best season to show her?

So apparently until she met me my gf had never seen a single Simpsons episode. As such she thought the couple she saw this season were actually kind of funny, since to her they're not being the same jokes into the ground. What would be the best season or two to show her do you think?
