My girlfriend (ex) moved her stuff to my house. There are boxes of stuff everywhere and furniture all over the place.

Well....we aren't together anymore. I refuse to allow her to get uninsured people to move her stuff out of the house. If she wants people to come move stuff she can get a moving company. She doesn't have money for that. Too bad.

What can she do legally? I don't care about being sued, I just don't want police at my door, she is saying shell call the police. Police can't force me to do anything right?
this is a civic manner right?

Wait, you broke up with your gf who was living with you and you now won't let her move her stuff out without an insured moving company?

Wow.

By definition, denying her the use of her property is theft. The more ya know...

You better sleep with one eye open. I read in some news cast once that some believes in self torching to seal the bond of their "love"

Something doesn't seem right here... how she get into your house if you guys are no longer together???

In NC she can call the police and they will force you to let her get her stuff. You can't not let her get her stuff because you don't like who she has helping her. My suggestion, don't be a dick and let her get her stuff.

If you want the whole story.... She has a big house she got divorced couldn't pay mortgage she rented it moved in , 1 week here renters backed out so she has nobody to pay her mortgage. Bad credit can't get a car wants me to get one under my name and shell make payments. I didn't want to pay so she pissed but that's not why she left.

Anyways I paid for her to move her stuff here. The entire townhouse is full.

We didn't even unpack her stuff and she beat me up gave me a blackeye because I talked to an ex gf of mine on gmail. She left and threatened me to give her back her stuff. That's fine hire insured movers.
I'm not paying 1500 for them to move it back. She wants it she can hire them. Not people standing next to home depot.

Just let her move her stuff out and be done with it. I don't get the big issue with having to have insured movers, it's not your stuff that is being moved.

hope she calls the cops and they arrest you. you don't have a right to keep her stuff in the house or dictate who moves it.

in other words you are a class A douche.

let me guess she dumped your ass because she feels you are a control freak? lol what can the cops do? arrest you for theft and let her get her shit. no matter if she hires beggars off the street corner. sounds like its good that is getting away from you.

Not when you are denying her the use of her possessions. The law calls that theft. Better hope she's not as big a dick and presses charges.

I'm sorry I'm not going to have people from home depot move stuff down 16 stairs. I'm not a douche I'm smart. You don't get people to do work in your house without insurance.

Wow, wonder why she broke up with a treasure like you.

I'm sorry if breaking up caused your dick to shrink. I really am. Hopefully the cops will kick your balls hard enough they'll follow suit and everything'll match up.

no. you. don't.

It's her stuff not yours. she has every right to hire whoever the fuck she wants. What you are doing is going to get you arrested.

Oh also don't even think of just setting it by the curb that will also get you in trouble.

the mature (hahah little late for that.) and right thing to do is allow her to move everything out. stand there with a camera and take pics if they damage anything and then sue her.

This isn't about insurance, this is about you being childish. You didn't spring for bonded movers when she moved in did you?
