GF4 Blurs when playing NOLF...what's up?

When I play NOLF, the sides of the screen blur when I make turns and move around. It becomes very annoying when you have to wait and stop and then continue playing because the screen is blurring. Anyone know why this is? It happened when I first built my rig, but then stopped for a few days. Yesterday I installed the new VIA 4-in-1's (4.40) and it's happening again. Specs are below just in case anyone has any idea what's up with this.

MSI GF4 TI-4400
AMD 1700xp+
Shuttle AK35GTR
Sound Blaster PCI 16 (runs fine w/ this system)
Netgear FA11 Ethernet Card
Maxtor 40gb hd
350 w Antec psu in Chieftec case w/ 2 intake, 2 exhaust
16x toshiba dvd
40x Teac
Idles: 38, Load :43 (doubt it has anything to do w/ temp)

I'm going out on a limb here, but that sounds like it might be because Vsync is off. Try turning it on, and see what you get.

Went to opengl settings, and it says Vertical Sync is on by default. Also I noticed that some of the text is distorted in NOLF...but this is the only game it happens in.

have you updated to the latest version of nolf, and do you have the latest version of video card and motherboard drivers?

I updated to version 1.04 of NOLf (latest update), using the 29.40 dets (latest), and WHQL Via 4 in 1's version 4.40 (latest), and i'm still getting that wierd text distortion (lines sticking nout of letters), I have not noticed any blurring however

almost sounds like a bad video card. I have the same card and am hoping that i do not develope any of these problems. i have heard of many people with the same symtoms as your card. go to the video forum and look for more info on this.
