GF4 Ti200 $143 SHIPPED DVI OUTPUT!!!!!!

I just ordered a brand new GF4ti200 64MB Chaintec card for only $143 shipped. It has DVI, and svideo output. The heatsink looks nice and is annodized gold. Looks like a solid card for anyone interested. Got it from FTICOMPUTER. resellerratings say this company is so/so. there are many mixed responses, but it looks like that there was only trouble for people who ordered CPU'S. here is the link.

Some new computer store in fresh meadows ny. I was telling someone that this is also a store that sells 200 dollar audigys you can get a staples (of all places) for half that. So something must be wrong. Again, I'll go find out more....but it looks like they may have forgotten a digit somehwere. Hopefully, they will honor at least one of em.

I would avoid FTI Computer (aka Future Technologies Inc). Had one experience with them & it was negative. I bought an ATI Radeon 7500 vid card for $72 plus about $14.71 shipping (too high, I'm one state away). Had to give them three (3) credit card #s before they found one that worked (don't know why, I use them every week). Turns out the vid card was made by PowerColor of Taiwan (using the ATI chip). Ok my mistake, should have realized this could not have been a real "Made by ATI" card for this price. I get RMA# and return it unopened. After several emails & calls I finally get my refund over a month later BUT ON A TOTALLY DIFFERENT Cr Card! AND only the $72 was refunded not the full $86.71 I spent to buy it, let alone what I paid to ship it back.
Yick, Yick, Very bad taste in my mouth.

well i let you guys know how my experience goes. The thing i like is that this is a retail card with DVI and tv out. You really don't see that in any sub $150 gf4 cards.

maybe i'm the only one, but i'm getting sick of people posting sh*t you can find cheaper on pricewatch. i'm pretty sure most people here already know about pricewatch and the prices have been around $140 for a gf4 ti4200 for a LONG time. and if you don't know about pricewatch, here it is: www.pricewatch.com.

my point being: prices on pricewatch go down about a dollar every few days--it's very steady and it's very gradual--so unless there's a big dip in prices, there is no reason to keep posting sh*t here about a videocard that's "a dollar cheaper today! woohoo". just check pricewatch.

byror, eat a chill pill. $143 shipped is a very good price for a retail card with TV-out and DVI SHIPPED!!! most pricewatch retailers add 7-13 dollars for shipping to those $140 card without TV-out or DVI.
There is another card that has tv-out and dvi on pricewatch that seems to be $141 but when you click on it, the price is actually $144

so, why dont you post us a deal for TI4200 with TV-out and DVI for less than $143 shipped, otherwise, go flame elsewhere

Oh yeah, resellerratings for FTI dont look good

well I ordered my GF4 4200 128mb from fticomputer (from pricewatch.com price) and got it before the weekend.
one thing to note about their "shipping":
it's awful. They put the video card box inside a cardboard box that was about 3 inches too short. so they just taped one end closed. but everything works, and the chaintec card is great, so I can't really complain. Also they say 1 day shipping, but after a day their website said "verifying" or something so I had to call and complain. After about 3 tries I got hold of someone who basically said the website doesnt show the right info, and if my billing address was the same as my delivery address then the card will ship that day. and it did. yet even after getting the card a half week ago, the site still says "processing".

i would do business with them again. but only if the price was right.

They have a website at dcipc.com....but it looks incomplete. The price I am quoting from is a price sheet that they have next to a nice lian-li, led-lit PC they have on display next to the door.

Also, FTI computer used to (and still may be) operated out of a warehouse in the greatneck, ny district. Its located on a big hill with the small computer counter towards the steel door on the right side. They don't have much of a "showroom"....but that may have changed. They've been in business for awhile, and sometimes give discounts if customer pays with cash.

I ordered it from newegg yesterday afternoon for $142 inc. shipping. It has already been shipped.
