I was getting a lot of SMART warnings from my hard drive and decided to replace it. So I slapped in the ghost 2003 floppy and did a drive image to a new drive. Everything seemed to go without a hitch and the data is definitely on the clone drive now but when I try to boot from it it gets past the initial black screen with the XP logo and that blue progress bar thing, gets to a blue screen with windows xp logo and nothing else and then stops. The same thing happens in safe mode. I don't know what to do at this point.
Original drive is a western digital 120gig drive with two partitions.
New drive is a western digitial 160 gig drive that had no data on it.
During imaging process I had the original drive on primary IDE and the New drive on my RAID controller.
Is there some kind of special parameter I need to set in ghost for xp boot imaging?
Somebody please help! I dont want to install XP a fifth time this year!
