Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter II

is anybody playing this game? I dont remember ever seeing many threads about it when it was released but I diddnt search either, I am just wondering what the general concensus was/is about this title.
I got a free copy way back when I bought my Q6600 processor but it diddnt seem to spark the old interest that I had with the original series, I installed it and played for a while and uninstalled it, I dont think I got very far at all in the game.
So either way, are there any players out there? I know there is a multiplayer option for the game, are there any players out there?
I re-installed it last night and I am going to put forth great effort to get as far as I can in the game, I feel as though I have gotten a second wind for PC gaming.
I have browsed a bunch of threads about PC gaming dying off, is there any merit to this ugly rumor?
Well I am off to work now and I will check back with this thread when I get home this afternoon before I load up the game to see if there are any replies.
What else are you guys playing? are there any good PC games that have come out recently?
When/is GTA IV coming out for the PC? that is a game I for one am really looking forward to playing on my 'puter.

it is at least mildly entertaining. Most of the bugs have been ironed out but the AI is still a little unnatural.
GRAW1 had marksman AI that could head shoot you from 400m with a pistol.

GRAW is a horrible series. A real shame that it ruined the Ghost Recon series. I didnt like it one bit. the graphics arent very good and the performance is even worse. The controls are clunky and make things very difficult. I know i sound like a hater and well i am. i was very disappointed in the game i was looking forward to it for a long time up, GRAW 1, and then was hoping GRAW2 was going to be better but it wasnt. dont waste your time.

i quite enjoyed the game as sort of an action squad-based shooter. its missing some tactical elements from the original series. i can play it with the graphics cranked up and the textures look really good. why not try it out? you could beat it in maybe 10 hours.

GRAW was pretty enough, even if it had curiously empty cities. The gameplay is HARD! Health goes down and there are no energy bars or other means of getting it back up. You go through the whole map and if you quicksave at the wrong time you will be screwed. Enemy are hard to spot sometimes since the color palette isn't that varied.

Haven't played II yet but plan on getting to it.
