This game wasn't really on my radar, but after seeing this extremely impressive trailer, it now is. I don't think I've ever seen such a realistic depiction of natural terrain and landscape before!

I mean this is to me is Crysis level of impressive. Say what you want about Ubisoft, but man, I don't think any game developer puts as much focus on cutting edge graphics technology as they have lately.

This game will likely require something like a GTX 1080 ti to get 60 FPS at 1440p I have no doubt, because it looks incredible.

Insane draw distance and a very good looking game. If there is one thing Ubi gets right, it's definitely graphics

This game looks like it will get a DX12 patch somewhere down the road like The Division did, as it has so much detail. If it reviews well, I will probably pick it up.

I really hope they took some time on optimization, the beta had massive performance hit at higher settings. You'd probably need 1080 Ti SLI for 60fps @ 1440p with everything turned on. At Very High PCGH got avg of 60 fps with a OC'd 1080 @ 1440p and the difference between VH and Maxed was ~50% performance hit.

Open Beta perf was much better than Closed, so hopefully its even better on release.

There was some hitching and judder in the video, but it looked like it was minor (considering it was made at 4K according to the narrator) so I'm hoping that there have been great inroads made when it comes to optimization.

That said, I think it would be naive not to expect this to take a very high end rig to run at high resolution, very high settings and at high framerates. The game just looks too damn good and too realistic to not be overly demanding. Like I said earlier, it gives me a strong Crysis vibe and we all know how demanding Crysis was when it launched back in the day. That said, I think gamers are more likely to be forgiving if the graphics are actually worth it, which it appears it is.

The amount of foliage, and the draw distances are just unbelievable and looks way beyond what the consoles are capable of.

People were saying that even with Titan XP in Max @ 1080p they never had draw distances or grass like that in, so its either new for release or that video wasn't real gameplay footage but maybe just in engine with extra stuff on.

Hopefully its just new stuff and they optimized it enough to be playable. Better IQ choices is always best!

The beta wasn't too impressive, the vehicles drove funny as always. Maybe final will be better. Just not as good as Ghost Recon 1. Its really fun to mess around though, like GTA.

Looks great. I'd like a Just Cause 3 type movement for a game this beautiful though. Movement with the parachute and wingsuit kind of spoils you for open world games.
