It's about getting out of your car and parading around it while its moving in an attempt to have fun without boundaries. And yes, there is a blatant disregard for safety. Dangerous activity? Sure, but there are plenty of other activies just as, if not more dangerous.

Sadly, I'll bet if the cops catch somebody doing this, the punishment would be LESS severe than if caught driving with a BAC level of .08 (legally drunk) despite this activity being WAY more dangerous.

But meh, at least ghost riding the whip is more fatal to the driver.

Man, I don't know what the deal is with your jihad against drunk driving laws (get caught yourself?), but think before you say something so outrageous. While this ghost riding thing is stupid, it's not going to kill someone. It's done at low speeds and away from traffic.
