Ghostbusters 3 is happening

And I GUARANTEE this will happen: At some point in the movie after her constant screw ups the crew will turn on her and she will either be kicked out or forced to sit out. It will turn into a sob story for her. Then at the end of the movie, with the other 3 in trouble against whatever they are fighting, McCarthy's character will come out of nowhere and save the day. They other 3 will apologize, hug it out and let her back in.

I think we should all just get together and write the screenplay.

I don't mind her--I think she can be funny, but it always ends up being the same shtick in the end. It's not so much her that I dislike as it is all of her stuff is predictable.

There are a lot less female comedians. Most of the ones I have heard have been from screwing around on YT. Every time, they just substitute vulgarity for everything comedic. From what I've gathered, they don't seem to understand that being as foul mouthed as humanly possible isn't something that's particularly funny. Like a fart joke: maybe you'll get a chuckle or something initially, but to just go on with it gets old fast. Then again, the only ones I've perused are the bigger name ones.

I have heard a couple of ones that sound decent from radio advertisements at our local comedy club, but I am not really comedian person, so I've never gone. Makes me think the only good ones would just be doing local / small circuits.

Melissa McCarthy, for instance, is pretty retarded and unfunny. I'm not even going to rent this when it goes to video, because I know I'm going to hate it. Don't want to ruin my memories of the Ghostbusters, or give studios the dollar statistics so they continue to make retarded shit.

Honestly, the worst part about this whole thing has to be the title of that article. Can you say, "Click bait"? If you read the source article, there's absolutely nothing that suggests that it's all guys, and the only mention of any cast members is that they want Channing Tatum to play one of the Ghostbusters. Not to mention, it says that this idea was talked about prior to the all-female movie announcement. Sigh, I hate people overreacting on Twitter because all they do is read a goddamn headline. :|

Amy Schumer is ok. I love Lauren Lapkus. She's more improv, but really funny. There are quite a few female voices that I find funny. Different strokes though...

Oh it's going to fail hard alright. Honestly it doesn't matter if the cast is all male or all female or a mix of each: So long as they're excellent comedians all at the top of their game and mesh together well. I just don't see these women as A list talent like Dan/Bill/ and the like. They're more "Eh, could be good" C list bottom of the barrel type stuff. Not that I'm surprised. After you got the Year One fellows writing it and The Lego Movie director not touching it with a ten foot pole after reading the script, no A list actors seem to want to risk their reputations by slapping their names on this project.
