A week early, but I'm a Giants fan, so this is the biggest game of the season so far for me.
Giants are 6-2, but aside from beating Washington, they haven't beat any teams with winning records (Jets, Philly, Atlanta, 49ers, Miami). But they are 6-2 and healthy, the D looks good, Eli and Plax are a winning combo.

Should be a great game.

GO GIANTS!

Well, I am a Dallas fan so I lack true objectivity, but I think the Cowboys will win a close game. The game being in the Meadowlands will keep it within 10 points, so I say 31-27.

all I'm saying is Cleo Lemon nearly tripled Manning's numbers, which does not bode well.

The Giants didn't throw the ball because of the conditions and because they were up in the game, and because they have a running game which Miami lacks. Miami had no choice but to throw.

Sure, it's excuses, but it's true too.

And the Giants won, which bodes well.

The Giants also barely threw the ball. Dolphins barely ran. Hence your numbers.

The cowboys already beat the giants once this year, at home.
The cowboys are rolling over just about everyone they play with the only exceptions being the Patriots and Buffalo.
Their margin of victories this year: 10,17,14,28,1 over Buffalo, lost, 10 and 21.
Dallas has the second best offense in the league, the Giants are in the middle of the pack.

I think Dallas wins.

I think we all know that was a different Giants team.
The Giants D was not on the same page the first two games of the year, and they have really come together.
I'm not saying the Giants will win.
I hope they do and I think it's very possible.
I think it will be a great game.

Giants have been in this position before where they start the year strong. So far they got their asses handed to them by two pretty good teams and they beat up teams they are supposed to beat. We'll see if this year's Giants are for real. The good thing though is so far they haven't been hit hard with the injury bug.

Yeah, and that's the thing. The previous 2 seasons when the Giants were 6-2 they were hurting. This year they are healthy. Hopefully, that makes all the difference. Also, there is no infighting in the locker room this year.

Lets hope it's more entertaining than last night's slaughter of the Pheebles. That was boring even for a Cowboy fan, except for the helmet-less scamper.

And the Giants defense is way better than Dallas. The Giants team that is playing now isnt the same team that lost the opener.

Buffalo is not that great of a team.
Dallas has not played many good teams, just like the Giants haven't.
They beat Giants, Miami, Chicago, St. Louis, Buffalo (barely), Vikings and Philly.
Aside from NYG, none of those teams have winning records.
The Giants are a different team now.

Giants are in the same boat, aside from the two first games of the season.

Agreed, yet you just described the cowboys D as well. We didn't have Newman then, now we have all our corners healthy, plus Ellis, plus Tank (although we will see if he plays this week, not sure).

I am not counting my chickens before they hatch because, hey, it's the NFC East. We could be 8-0 yall could be 0-8 and you could still stomp us (especially in your house). However, if I had to bet on the game I would say Cowboys by 10ish.

I am DEFINATELY looking forwards to the game though, I think it will be hard fought and that the Cowboys will pull away in the late 3rd or 4th quarter.

Newman definitely helps the Dallas D, but I still like the Giants D over the Cowboys D at this point. The Giants challenge will be pressuring Romo who is great on the run and avoids lots of sacks.

egh....the media has poisoned our minds, even Vegas, who currently has this game as a pick.

Look. The Giants lost their first two, everyone said "OMG worst ever". Then they won two against bad (but division) opponents, so people realized they weren't the 31st ranked team in the league...looked at their unbelievably soft schedule and said "wow, the Giants will be 6-2 at their bye". That has come, and suddenly the media says "WOWZ THE GIANTS ARE ON FIRE!"

The only game the Giants supposed "turned around" D really impressed me was against the Eagles, but come on...Winston Justice was basically just a placeholder protecting McNabb's blindside. The Dallas D, meanwhile, is going to be at full strength for the first time ALL SEASON, with Newman and Henry finally healthy, Ellis back (he already has 5.5 sacks), and potentially Tank Johnson as well.

It's impressive that the Giants turned it around, but lets be serious, they are not on the Cowboys' league. The Eagles have a damn good defensive line - dare I say as good as the Giants - and they only even hit Romo once or twice, and didn't sack him once. Plus the Giants don't really have a "secondary"....Romo is going to light them up, big time.

Cowboys 27, Giants 13

True, but then again Dallas has played just as soft of a schedule, aside from New England.
Maybe Dallas is not as good as you think they are?

The Dallas D is good, but I still think the Giants D is better.
Dallas has a much better secondary, but the Giants D line is much better than the Dallas line.

It's impressive that the Giants turned it around, but lets be serious, they are not on the Cowboys' league.
Disagree. The Cowboys have not beat a good team yet (aside from the Giants in the opener), and almost lost to Buffalo who is a .500 team.

The Eagles have a damn good defensive line - dare I say as good as the Giants - and they only even hit Romo once or twice, and didn't sack him once.
They're not in Giants league at D line. Giants might have the best D line in the game. When they rotate in Justin Tuck and kiwanuka gets out of LB and puts his hand down in the dirt, Giants have 4 top DE's on the line.

Plus the Giants don't really have a "secondary"....Romo is going to light them up, big time.

The secondary has really improved since you last saw the Giants.
Madison has been playing real well, so has Aaron Ross. They still need improvement, but they are not the laughing stock they were. Plus, if the D line gets pressure the secondary is not as exposed.

Cowboys 27, Giants 13
Maybe, we'll see.

Dude you think a team that barely beat Miami is going to be a good game? They will do better than the Eagles but it'll still be a 41-21 game.

And yeah they almost lost to Buffalo but look how many times they turned the ball over and STILL won?

I think Dallas is highly over rated but so are the Giants. I won't mind if the Cowgurls win as long as T.O gets his bell rung (Romo getting his bell rung would be a bonus)
