This thread is a good example of fail.
Shit, I only bought a freaking watch last night.
Nah, I got a few laughs out of it.

Nice gift for your wife.
 for all the pics of you with your shirt off.
Ahem. Assuming you bought the camera when it first came out, that's still a decade ago.January 24, 1980 10:50:09PM (timezone not specified)

Hey, I'm surprised we haven't made that Bay Area meet yet... You seem hilarious at times... :sneaky:Divorce?
...surprised no one has said it yet...
I bet me as shit smells a lot better than his dead dad.
It was about $550, I didn't need to get credit to buy it.
Lot's of haters in this place.

Cool watch though.
that does seem like a nice watch. If it weren't so expensive I'd see if I could get one for my sister.
disclaimer: i know jack all about watches and watch valuations. 500-600 seems like a lot to me for a watch so *shrug*
Depends....my wife has watches that were $5000+. I can't see buying one for myself that expensive as I am hard on my jewelry.
My Seiko Coutura was about $375 on sale when it came out.
The Hermes Clipper I bought is not made anymore, it's a pre-owned watch and probably around 30+ years old.
My wife has a couple watches in the $1,500 range. Most expensive watch I own is a Citizen Eco Drive which I think I spent about $250 on. I wore it for a while but I stopped wearing watches a few years ago. Why bother? I carry a cell phone with the time, my computer has a clock in the corner of the screen, and there are clocks on the wall in every department throughout the building. Watches just seem kind of pointless to me. Besides, I hate wearing jewelry of any kind. My wedding band is the only piece of jewelry I wear.
There is a lot said about a nice watch when seen in a business meeting.
It's like any jewelry or fine clothing. Either you get the psychology behind it or not.
If you just work in an office day to day then nothing pretty much matters.
