Gigabyte 7NNXP, a design problem with DPS?

Bought a 7NNXP due to reputaion of the board and manufacturer. Had read a review at tomshardware.com where the reviewer couldn't get the board to POST with the DPS module installed. I have the same issue, and after an RMA from Gigabyte (who has NOT been very helpful despite their reputation), the board will still not POST with DPS installed. Board is less than 30 days old and retailer is willing to exchange which I will do, but has anyone else experienced this issue?

Also, anyone else run in to the same service issues with Gigabyte? Are they slipping?

This is a widely know issue, some are finding that their psu is inadequate.
Some have found that allthough the dps did not work initally, they were able to add it later and all was well.

So, What is you psu, and wattage output on the rails?

P.S You did plug in the 12v 4pin connector to the board?

Gigabyte didn't seem to think this issue was widespread but I can see they aren't well versed on this. I've got an Antec TruePower 380W PSU which GB said was better than adequate, and they also asked about the 4 pin plug (which I do have plugged in).

Thanks for the info and links to the other forums, 3sixes, I'll give it a go and see what I find. I've already RMA'd the board with the retailer and am expecting the new one next week. Hopefully I'll have better luck with number 2!

So, Im guessin that you saw it seems to me to be about a 75/25 ratio, with 75% having no issues, and alot of the 25% had carryover power supplys from previous systems that just were not up to the job.

I can appreciate that you have the psu that you do, but the thing you need to do is figure what each rails output is and then factor in what youre running.
