Gigabyte DQ6 and E6600 OC'ing

thanks a lot m8, ill try your setting.
im now at 3.200 after some more tewaking. and ram at 800 Mhz but had to set CPU Clock Ratio (Multiplier) to 8 and CPU Host Frequency (MHZ) to 400
And thats stabel. this setup is giving me the best Score in super PI so far: 16,109..

yes i know the CTRL F1 to get advanced

A strange thing is happening, no matter what i do, if i shot down the PC at next reboot i have to CPU Host Clock Control.........................Enabled again.
if i reboot i dont have to do this.
and this is no matter what i do..
the comp is running stabel, and no errors.
can game and all that stuff.
Can as i said reboot 10 times and all are good.
But if i shot down, the CPU Host Clock Control will change to Dissabelt.

Now what in Gods name can do this ???
did i say, No matter what of the many stabel setups i use it will do this

PoorBoy: Nope your setup will not work.
No matter what i do LOL
raiessed the Vcore from your setting up to: 1,6500
from 1,5750 i can boot but win frezz

By the way my system is Water Cooled so its not getting hot at all.

Ok BrownGhost, I'm sure you'll get it figured out in the end ... It was just something for you to try...

I have 1 of the E6600's running for the last 6 hours @ 3.600Ghz ... If it stays stable over night running the BOINC Projects I'll try the other one the morning with the same settings ...
