There have been complaints that the E does not save settings correctly on reboot. From what I've read they are unsure if it is correctable in the bios - settings related to voltage and clock frequency...
I just got a GA-EP35-DS3L today because I *heard* it was like the old GA-P35-DS3L.
Well, it has a different BIOS. Different look, different options, and as of right now, does NOT let you change VCore. There is a VCore option in BIOS, but it doesn't "stick". It doesn't save. You can set it to 1.4, 1.5, etc - and it will still show your default of 1.2, 1.1, etc.
Some people say that after resetting CMOS, it lets them change VCore, but then it just "forgets" after a while and drops it back down to default. That has resulted in some nice BSODs for people.
I just "upgraded" to this board, and now I'm running slower with this board than my old one.
Hopefully, this is just a BIOS issue. I feel like RMA'ing this board and getting something else. Again, I bought it because I've seen people say over and OVER that it's like the GA-P35-DS3L, but it is
NOT.
