I guess. This is best price for this kind of cards if you don't considering buy faster AMD R9 390 card.

Not really, it's not that great of a deal unless you must have NV for PhysX or TXAA or something.

TigerDirect has XFX R9 290 for $220 and XFX R9 290X for $260. Both come with a lifetime warranty as long as you register the card within 30 days of purchase date. Both of those are a better deal than a $310 GTX970.

Also, I am not convinced the G1 970 is worth $20 extra over the standard Windforce 3X 970 for $290. I bet max overclocks on both of those will be within 30mhz which is basically impossible to tell the difference in real world gaming without putting FPS into an excel sheet.

That link is showing the 290x for $369 so looks like the 970 is a better deal considering the 290x and 970 are a tossup performance wise.
