Gigabyte H55 MB, Set 1.35V Memory?

Can I use this G.SKILL ECO (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1.35V Memory in this GIGABYTE GA-H55M-UD2H H55 Motherboard ?

Will the 1.35V auto set or if not can I manually set in BIOS the required 1.35V? I've never set memory voltage so this is new to me.

You may have to set it, but it should work.

Since this is 1.35V memory, if the motherboard does not autoset and defaults to 1.5V, any potential damage to memory before it is manually set to 1.35V?

I bet those things run 1600 at 1.5. Auto will set it to spd so you should be good to go. I would go through the trouble and set them the way they should. Give them a proper test and let us know if they overclock ^^

Just read your sig Hermit. Do you have a link to your 3kw @ home setup. I am adding solar panels this year with a control 4 system with shading controls for my blinds etc. I am curious to what your year round uses are. What resources did you use-guides etc.

No plan to OC, rather under volt. I may also UC. Any comments as to suitability of that MB/memory combo would be appreciated. I'll be using an i3-530 with a modest PSU: 150-200W. I may go to a picoPSU, I'd like to get to 20W idle.

I wanted to know general setup costs, and how much you are able to run of off it. in real world rather then Kwh

Not sure I understand, but . . .
Roughly $20K installed, verses $135K for a wire, I'm roughly 4-miles from the nearest utility wires @ $35K/mi. The solar > battery > inverter system runs everything in my house: well, furnace, refrigerator, microwave, TV, DVR, this PC, wireless internet, furnace, washer, dryer, dishwasher, lights . . . everything, but limited to 3KWH/day assuming it's sunny.

do you have your pc running from 12v dc or is that also powered by the inverter?

EVERYTHING is 120V/60C AC, no DC. If I need DC I'll use a AC/DC converter such as a battery charger for a car. DC is only available at the battery box whereas AC outlets are everywhere, to code.

In 11+ years I've had one failure, last year, 2 of my 12 - 6V batteries died. I shuffled them around such that I'm now running only 8 batteries. They're very heavy ~150# and very expensive ~$300 each and you can't replace two, I'd have to replace all twelve.
