Thankfully, after using the board for a week now, we can say that this board is right on par with other nForce4 products in terms of overall quality ? that being very high. The board was extremely stable throughout all of our testing, even when running at full 5x HyperTransport frequencies.

The board performs on par (and better in most cases) compared to the more expensive Asus A8N-SLI nForce4 motherboard.

What do you mean? My printer loves these paper launches! I print all the speks out and put the paper in my computer ontop of my MB and pretend everything is real fast and upgradeable.

My GA-K8NF-9 shipped from MWave on the 17th, although I see that they're now out of stock...

Thanks for the link. It was great to read such a positive review.

This will be the first NF4-based system I'll be building for my customers, so it's reassuring to see that stability and setup were non-issues. My experience with gigabyte boards has shown them to be very reliable and solid. I expect that this one will prove to be no different.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to offend anyone. I just talking in general about nForce 4 chipsetted motherboards. For instance, the press release for MSI nForce boards has a date of October 21st 2004... three months later and these boards aren't available. In fact most of these boards were announced in late October, early November.

I love this board.
It has been nothing but stable and "easy" for me.

Overclocking has been easy with 3x and normal voltages.

This is the best board I've ever used (I hope it lasts as long as my old MSI-6191 has), I became a Gigabyte convert after about 2 days of using the GA-K8NF-9. I also think I'll be sticking with the nForce chipset in future too...

Just finished building this system, and I have to say that I'm impressed. Had to research a little bit, as I couldn't at first recall the ctrl+F1 bios trick, but after that, overclocking on this board was very easy:

CPU Model Number: ADA3000DIK4BI

Current CPU Frequency: 2250MHz (250 x 9)
CPU Voltage: 1.40v
Stock memory timings and v
HT Frequency: 3x

I'm sure that I could easily push this MB/CPU as high as 2700mhz, but I'll keep it modest, as it's a customer's machine.

Nice layout, good build quality and I love the "skip OC" function in the bios...Methinks I may see a Gigabyte NF4-Ultra in my near future...
