I just built this a couple months ago, but I can't figure out why it wont stay shut down. I don't have it waking to any thing in the BIOS. Runs fine when it on...But when I shut it down, It acts like I told it to restart. I have to cut the power supply off when it starts to reboot. So what else can cause this?

Is your computer crashing and restarting automatically? Check your network adapters. What operating system are you using? I have the same motherboard and never had a problem like that, I doubt it's a hardware issue.

No, not crashing. Not rebooting on it's own. Just wont shut all the way down/ or stay shut down. Act's just like it's rebooting. Running win 10 64 bit.

Is device manager reporting issues with any of the devices? Did you ever run a production OS on this build?

No, I had another MB on it before, Win 7 was on it then. Same everything else except CPU and MB.
I'm trying out Win 10. So I got to figure out where to find what you asked. I looked at pc settings, then devices. But it does not look anything like Win 7.

I think most Windows operating systems automatically restart after a system crash. If a program crashes on shutdown, you may not see anything but your computer will restart automatically by default. If you disable this function and your computer shuts down(and maybe shows an improper shutdown message the next time you power up), you might be able to pinpoint the problem by checking error logs.

I don't know how to disable the auto restart in Window 10, I don't have it.

Control Panel/System/Advanced System Settings/Startup and Recovery

Uncheck: Automatically Restart
