Gigabyte P67 RMA

Some of you probably already knew about this, but for those who don't, Gigabyte's P67 RMA site is up and running, I already got my advanced RMA set up. For regular RMA, fill out this form:

For advance RMA, contact them using this email: services@gigabyte-usa.com

They'll send a couple of forms for you to fill out. Took me 5 minutes to set everything up.

I though they would base the bios of these new B3 boards on the latest release from the 1.0 revision boards. Not go back to the initial release.

I'm still waiting to hear back from them. What sort of forms did they send you? Did they collect your CC/payment information?

The first form is the RMA request form, and the second is the CC authorization form. I made my request last Saturday, and they've shipped my replacement board yesterday. I should get it sometime tomorrow.

Just an update.. I received my board this morning and so far so good. The new B3 board (UD4) is revision 1.1 (as opposed to 1.0 for my old B2 board). Win7 didn't even ask me for re-activation.

I had to reactivate for mine (UD3P), but it worked without me having to call in... thankfully.

I'm not sure about Gigabyte, but Newegg wants everything back. Thankfully, I didn't use the awful cables that Gigabyte provided with the UD3P. It was odd, because the UD3P is black and the cables they provided are light blue . The newer B3 version comes with black SATA cables instead.
