Gigabyte Video card GV-N208TTURBO-11GC

Hello Fellow Gamers,

I am interested in buying this graphic card above, but cant find very much information on performance. I am wondering if anyone has Tested this card and if they can enlighten me on the difference on performance compared to the other RTX 2080TI models. Please provide links as I am really interested in this GPU. I know that they all pretty much have the same Core processor, but due to the new coolers and Fans installed. I'm wonder if these are performing better when clocking.

Cards with the style of fan you linked, which is called a blower or radial fan, tend to perform worse. The cards with multiple axial fans tend to perform better. For example, I would expect the card below to perform better:

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gaming OC 11GB Graphic Cards GV-N208TGAMING OC-11GC
While true for the most part there are instances where a blower will perform better than an open air card, see any small footprint case design where there heat from the card needs to be dumped outside of the case.

Open air cards as far as I know always perform better, even in small cases. The main thing is in a tiny cube case it's only marginally better, i.e., it will run in the 80s C just like a blower GPU. The main issue is CPU temps.

With a blower GPU (Titan Xp) my 8700K idled at 30C and load was 65C. With a open air GPU (2080 Ti FE) the idle is in the 40s and load is nearly 80C.

Since all the heat is being dumped in the case you are probably looking at lower lifespan of mobo, PSU, RAM, due to higher ambient temps.

Basically this, in a SFF case, there generally isn’t as much air flow so the open air cards tend to heat the inside of the case affecting CPU and other component temps, where the blower style pushes the hot air out the rear and thus case temps are a bit lower.

That said, SFF is the only time I would recommend a blower card.

Put your name on the notification list at EVGA's website for the 2080 Ti Black edition at $999, I snagged one last week and it should be just as good or better than the card you listed plus being cheaper. EVGA is one of the best vendors for Nvidia cards.
