Question Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Ultra Gaming Safe VRM temperature?

Hello,
i like my computer silent as possible so i would like to turn off fans only if there are really needed now hotest part of my computer regarding of sensors are VRM.. What is last save temperature for them? Where is good to start fan near them?

Where are VRMs under passive heating above cpu socket?

I read i thing Guru3D reviews, but Intel cheating is now my problem? Intel usually a bit cheated on Xeon TDPs, for desktop, i was used to just check intel ARK..
I now see how bad it is - thanks.

But i searching for some solution, is there any? I see that GB made some F13, F14 Bioses im on older F10, but there is not mentioned any specific TDP fix..

While not as bad as Intel's new way of rating power usage, AMD does the same thing now it their power ratings. The TDP basically only applies to the base speed. Any "boosts" above the base exceeds the TDP rating.

There probably is a setting in the BIOS to force the CPU to adhere to the 95w TDP, I'd have to let someone who uses one of Gigabyt'es motherboard chime in where it is.

On my Asrock board, there is setting to turn on "multi-core enhancement" which boosts all the cores to the same speed, increasing power usage and heat.

When you buy Intel's products, their problems become your problems. Sorry. But there are things you can do to fix it.

I still thing that it would be best if you could just download that MB picture and just mark in Mspaint there they should be.
So they are completely under these heatsinks? How is relationship of inductors and VRMs, are that part of them?

Both heatsinks are even under load quite cold, even when VRMs are reporting 100+ C temperature, could be here bad surface contact, or sensor temperature is misleading?

Some fun from technical support communication..

Regarding of them 120 C for VRM is still fine, i asked for last safe temperature - no response.

They are offering me some unoficial bios fix, i asked for make it part of oficial bios - no luck.

When i argued that 9900K is supported CPU list, so should be fully supported - i got response that in MB text description is that MB is for 8th gen, so that it.. so i should expect great 9th gen support.

As always its only because that tech pages in reviews not really care about quality of MB support, in such cases.. so vendors give as bad as possible, same with drivers, but how cares, when you just normal dude.
