ok went to wally world today to buy some ink. then i look over and see a lexmark z25 for 35 bucks and change. I notice im holding a 39 dollar color and black ink package. wtf i say screw this i will just buy a new printer. got home today and thought. i will look up rebates, maybe i will get lucky.. guess what i did and so did you.

ok also its a z25m. on the side of box it bosts 2400dpi and 11page per minute..hmm
also came with 10 sheets of printer paper.. oh well its cheaper then the refill by far and prints fast as heck

I stand corrected. The link you provided shows both even though the Lexmark site says only color comes in the box. Who knew that Lexmark doesn't know what's in their own products?

Enjoy your printer. I use a z53, husband has a z31 and there's a z45se in the closet for back-up - and a 5700 waaaay in the back of the closet in case of a really bad day.

Lexmarks generally have two different cartridges for very cartridge model. The cartridges that end 0 are generally the low yield, while the cartridges that end a 5 are generally the hi-yield catridges. Printers 99% of the time ship with the catridge that ends in a 0. 99% of retailers sell the catridge that ends in a 0. Ex. 1970 - 1975 very popular black models, 1980 - 1985 Color, 120 - 125 Color, Etc...... The hi-yield catridges are almost non existent, but one can find them if they look.

The new Lexmark (I don't know the model #) that I saw at Walmart said on the box that it has starter cartridge(s) . I don't know how many pages that covers. All of the Lexmarks I have purchased have the same cartridges in them that you buy as replacements. My z53 came with 12A1970 (600 pages)and 15M0120 (275 pages) as did the z45se. My z31 came with 12A1970 and 12A1980 (275 pages) cartridges and so did the 5700. All of the original cartridges that have gotten used up printed at least that many pages.
