at least keep the windows rolled up, a la michael bolton in office space. but i know what you mean, a lot of pro-black statements in their songs. and they dont hide it either. their message is about as subtle as a dump truck driving through a nitroglycerin plant.Originally posted by: xenocyd3
yup major bass on that song... if your white, you would look very very weird playing that though(if someone actually knows what kind of message dead prez puts out)Originally posted by: anxi80

Here's a 12hz - 24hz sin sweep I got from MS Dawn

and a .25hz - 32hz (as she said, be careful with that one)

Careful with those indeed!
Here's a brief summary of loudspeaker systems that were damaged by using that program incorrectly:
[*]"Black Widow" music speaker - spider ripped. Fuse on amp (Adcom GFA-555) blows. Suspect output transistor(s) shunted.
[*]Altec Lansing "voice of the theatre" bass bin. Woofer clattered severely and then fiberglass batts started spewing from vents! Sounded more like a piston engine detonating severely from a malfunctioning timing retarder. Amp OK and its limits were never reached.
[*]Bass bin with Rockford Fosgate Pro 18 woofer (circa 1990) driven with Crown Macro Tech MA-3600VZ amp. What can we say? Where there is smoke there must be a fire. Indeed.

I've played that while some of my roommates had some guests over and it always freaks them out.
"What was that?"
"Do you feel that?"
"Is that a truck?"
"Is that coming from outside?"
etc
