Gingrich at 38%! This latest surge is looking a lot bigger than either the Perry or Cain bubbles, and Gingrich is peaking at a good time.
Yes, yes, I know. It's Rasmussen, and it's just one poll. If this is not a huge outlier, it changes the race (again). I think he'll hold up better than Perry or Cain, as people already know about him.
As a liberal, Romney scares me more than Gingrich because I think Romney is more electable, but at least no one can question if Gingrich is smart enough to hold office.
So the question is: will Gingrich take the nomination?
Edit: Well, he's certainly not lacking optimism over the new poll.
