Forceful collection and redistribution is nesesary if the elite don't want to comply
Working out great for Venezuela.

and the government has done nothing to control the corruption and criminal acts of the huge agricultural and chemical companies.
Jesus H Christ, not this shit again. 95% of Americans do jobs that will be replaced by "intelligent enough" computers and robots. If you believe that's not a problem for our current economic system, then you're simply an idiot.

Somehow when we transitioned from hunter-gatherers to agriculture we did fine. Then when we transitioned from subsistence farming to the Industrial Age we did fine. And now that we're transitioning from the Industrial Age to Information Age we'll be fine again. Ensuring you've evolved beyond previous stages in makind's development is your problem, not mine. You can join the still existent nomadic tribes in Africa or somewhere if you can't gain yourself any skills beyond something beyond what a 2nd grader in Bangaladesh can do.
Money is debt, the solution isn't to create more debt but to work with what we have

well somebody gotta do it.
Venuezuala is not as technologically capable as the first world. All the technological innovation came not from capitalism but from the application of the scientific method. All the greats weren't monetarily driven. Money is debt, the solution isn't to create more debt but to work with what we have
You can pick a major and its in good shape, then graduate and its shit. Just ask a lawyer who wanted to be one as an undergrad freshman. Or anyone who graduated into 2008.
A quick look at her Twitter feed and I get the impression she is mentally stunted. She also seems to be tired all the time.
I bet CNN is purposely picking the halfwits for thier articles so they can make a point.
Those systems still need to be designed, tested, and maintained. Automating these jobs are jobs in and of themselves... they just take skills these mouthbreathers aren't willing to put in the time to learn.
You are reacting the same way to any mention of capitalism. Maybe you can tell us more about why you think "capitalism" is all holy?

Or you could just say technological advancement is gonna ruin us all and go start a self-sustaining community that relies on current tech and vows to never advance beyond that.
It'll be just like being Amish, except you can have cars and TV's and cell phones and video games.
but self driving cars? No No, we draw the line there.

library sciences is not one of those majors.
Those systems take far fewer man hours to design, test and maintain than the work they displace. If they didn't, they wouldn't be created in the first place.
The whole point of automation is higher output with human labor requirements. How do people not understand that eventually, there is an end game for human labor? It's a very simple concept.
Do you know WHY the first world has more money to spend on scientific research? Because of capitalism, numnuts.
I suspect the college industry has lowered the bar significantly when it comes to handing out degrees.
There are people that graduate today that probably would have flunked out decades ago.
depends on the school.
True but I think a lot of schools have dropped the bar several notches. You want lots of people skating by and getting a degree if you want to cash in on the sheep.
