Does it matter ? They got hit by lightning. Say someone dies in a airplane accident, technically its their fault for getting on the plane and flying, so you would laugh then because they were dumb and got on a plane ?

No matter how terrible it is, if people do something dumb and die, it's funny. Tragic, but funny. I suppose you could go as far to say tragically funny.

Sorry, but if your driving instructor (regardless of whether it was a schoolteacher, your mom, your dad, your legal guardian, whoever) didn't explain to you that the harder you depress the gas pedal, the faster the car will accelerate, then your teacher failed. If your instructor did in fact tell you this, then you're just a moron who either doesn't have listening comprehension skills, or you weren't paying attention. In either case, this was not a terrible tragedy - it was Darwinism at work. One or more failures of communication, teaching, and learning were present and they resulted in a loss of life. Let's hope this girl grows up to fully explain all integral aspects of driving to her daughter. And yes, I am a little upset that someone's life was lost, and now someone else has to live with that every day, but the fact that all of this was completely preventable is still a glaring warning sign to me.

I've seen some idiotic things posted on Off Topic forums before, but this one is a cake-taker. Where... HOW in God's name are you even remoting basing your argument on logic? Do you have any idea how complex even flying a single-prop plane is? Do you even remotely understand the amount of technical failures that can occur during flight, regardless of operator experience and knowledge?

What happens if a gage is not calibrated properly? What happens if massive turbulance rips off a wing? What happens if its a passenger trying to get home from one corner of the world to the other? Does that make the passenger an idiot??

Try thinking before you post; and if you don't possess a whole lot of knowledge about the topic under discussion, then you better not present some kind of half-assed argument that doesn't hold water.

While it may or not be funny, if you found it humurous then you're entitled to your own reaction. People have their own reactions to situations and they can go f*ck themselves if they feel you also need to react the same way.
