Girl wants to end tedious family vacation cruise and go back to luvah-boy on shore. What better way than sending anonymous terror threats to the crew? "The defendant said she never wanted to go on this cruise ship with her family to begin with, and that she wrote these notes hoping that it would shorten her time on the cruise." 10 years in the cage, anyone?

I don't think she do jail time - it's silly putting all these people into jail when they don't pose any harm to anybody else. But, I like the idea of restitution for the cost of the investigation, but I'd also tack on the cost to all the people who paid for a relaxing trip. She can work her but off the rest of her life paying that debt.

They might have psychologically. She most likely still lived with them and completely relied on them for financial support.

Not just the ticket price though -- also pay for stealing their vacation time and any fear she caused them from triggering an evacuation. And tack on interest during all the years it takes her to pay it back. Maybe her kids get to inherit the debt

Don't you know? You're still a kid until you graduate college. Somehow, somewhere adulthood changed from approx. 18 years old to 22 years old. So based on that, she is still a child and thus must go where mommy and daddy go.

That's almost as stupid as what this girl did.

Agreed. That girl is deranged and has no business being let loose on the public. She appears to have no conscience and could be capable of worse than what she did so far even.

Reminds me of the psych test that tells apart psychopaths from normal people. But it has been debunked on snopes as not a real test, though the part of having no conscience is applicable.
