So do I. I think it went a little like this (NSFW for language)

How old are you?
23.

Have you spent more than 10 minutes with a 15 year old girl recently?
I have younger sisters, and I'm going through 15-year-old sibling #2 right now. Before asking for pics, please keep in mind that I have a short temper, a shovel, and a large soybean field near my house.

Trusted one with any important decisions?
No, but the decision to have sex isn't mine to make for her. I may not agree with it, and I definitely don't like it, but I can't change the fact that she's aware of such activity and ... it kills me to write this as an older brother ... may be interested in it. (Hey, I accepted it with Younger Sibling #1 when she turned 20, I'm under no obligation to do the same for #2 yet.)

I can certainly curb the interest of any male suitors though. <Vin Diesel> You break her heart, I break your neck. </Vin Diesel>

Likewise, I'm 24 and I have cousins and a niece. I understand that they will probably be doing something before they are out of high school. It doesnt need to be with a college student who gives them booze and weed.

I remember what I Was like when I was 19, and I really wasn't looking for a high school freshman, and I frankly don't understand the man who is.

I'm not sure I believe her. Marcus Vick is a model citizen. He is very classy and would never do anything illegal or morally wrong.

Thats cool. But if you caught, you do get busted.

If I were you I'd be working to help get that law changed.

I don't think the "it's ok for an adult to have sex with a 15 year old" lobby is a very strong one though.

*NOTE* - I didn't even know who this guy was before this thread was posted, I just found this when I was looking for more news articles. I have no vendetta for Marcus Vick, just thought it was funny.

http://www.everydayshouldbesaturday.com/?p=1599

In the same vein, we must remind you of another danger to your health and career: being Marcus Vick. We present to you the EDSBS Quiz: Are You Marcus Vick?

1. You strike up a conversation with an attractive lady at a local convenience store. Chemistry bubbles between the two of you, so you invite her over to your swanky crib for cocktails. Yet, as you pour the drink, you note her youthful appearance and middle-school report card sticking out of her purse. This provokes in you:

a.) Mild concern.

b.) Dismay.

c.) Jimmy-wobbles like hobbedy wobbedy damn.

2. At this point, you subtly inquire as to the woman?s age. When she says ?19? and giggles, you:

a.) Assume she is telling the truth.

b.) Ask for ID.

c.) Pour three rapid fire shots like a Fat Tuesday?s barkeep and put on a Teletubbies video.

Gets ?em every time.

3. The law of your state prohibits speeding. The law of your state also requires a valid driver?s license for the operation of a vehicle. Finally, the law of your state also prohibits the possession of marijuana. Which one of these then describes your driving style:

a.) Without a license and in possession of marijuana.

b.) Speeding and without a license.

c. ) Hey. I?m Marcus Vick. (All three)

4. You need a car to get around. You:

a.) Thriftily maintain the 1992 Plymouth Sundance you?ve been driving since high school.

b.) Purchase a used but still-in-good-shape Honda Accord to build your credit.

c.) Ask your brother to purchase a luxury car for you equal to the combined yearly salaries of 122 hard-working Laotians?in cash.

5. You are engaged in a fierce game with a challenging opponent. During a lull in the action, you spy the opponent laying lying on the ground. You:

a.) Offer your hand to help the opponent to their feet.

b.) Let them lie there. Why should you help them?

c.) Attempt to maim them in front of 80,000 very interested spectators and millions watching at home.

Go ahead?no one?s looking, man.

6. Your favorite color is:

a.) Periwinkle

b.) Red

c.) Why are you asking me this ******? What?s my favorite color? What kind of lovely human-ass ****** is that? Why are you asking me that when you know I?m strapped. Yeah, you heard me punk. D-Eagle strapped. You see this? That?s killin? steel right there, son?back the ****** up with that color ******. That?s right, back. The. ******. Up. Now we got some respect going on here. What? What, huh?!? What!!!

7. A table sits in front of you, piled high with anywhere from $20-30 million dollars in cash. On the table is a note taped to the collar of an adorable puppy. The note reads, ?This money is yours on the condition you do NOT kill this puppy, grill it, and eat it with lettuce and tomato on a whole wheat hoagie roll.? You:

a.) Take the money and leave the puppy.

b.) Take the money and adopt the puppy.

c.) Fire up the grill, bitches. Puppies gotta die, too.

Puppies gotta die, too.

If you answered C. to all seven questions, you may be Marcus Vick. You are advised to call the quality defense team of Argue and Phibbs immediately.

They are young, healthy, and have insanse amounts of money and attention thrown at them. I think it's reasonable that a person in that situation would think that the rules don't apply to them.

Not to call anyone in your family anything derogatory, but you can't always blame the guy. If they're "looking for a bad time" they're going to find it, and probably in the aforementioned way. Kids drink underage and do other stupid things of thier own free will.

They're generally the pathetic bastards who can't get any play from a woman their age, and still haven't gotten it into their heads that it's far, far more fun to hit up a bar and be cougar bait for some woman in her late 20s-early 30s.

He wasn't in the NFL at the time of the incident. In addition, he wasn't even drafted, so he isn't exactly high profile.

Actually, I live in Denver and its been legalized here. I know, I know - its still illegal on the State and Federal level, but cases have already gone to Denver court and been thrown out - state and federal officials don't persue cases like this because they are deemed trivial, and have even made official statements that they wouldn't pursue such cases. In order for me to get "busted", I'd have to have more then an Oz on me or have intent to distribute.

I know of cases personally where if a cop busts you with a joint walking down the street, and finds nothign else on you - he often times won't even bother - and at the most, he will give you a summons and all you'll have to pay is a court fine and sometimes a little more.

LOL, as if HS students don't have access to booze and weed. You are not helping your case my friend.

More like her only trauma was the realization that her wallet was empty and her meal ticket was ready to be cashed.

I'm with the camp that says she likely did him and others with the intention of pulling this kind of stunt when one of them hit it big.

My case is that if you're out of high school, you don't need to be doing high school freshman. I don't see how that hurts my case at all.

I know of cases where the cop pulls over in the squad car, his buddy leans out the window and asks for a double-up on his usual shipment, because he's throwing a party that night, and then the dealer says "I'll cut you a 2-for-1 if you invite me"

That's why these guys have to get big contracts....to pay off their debt to the underage sluts they bang when they in college.

It's sad, because she may claim emotional damage, but I'm sure when she was 15, she wanted to sleep with him because he was a college boy, etc... If not, she would have called it rape, rather than a 2 year relationship. I hope this gets thrown out of court.

Bolded for truth.

I've had some ... uh ... shall we say ... "indecent proposals" from my younger sister's friends in the past.

But as the rules go:

Don't do your friend's sisters.
Don't do your sister's friends.

Honestly though, as long as your 21 and you meet the other criteria I mentioned. It is LEGAL in the city of Denver. If you were driving, thats different because he could give you a DWAI or whatever, but if your actually walking down the sidewalk smoking a J, chances are better then 75% that the cop won't even bother with you. I work in Downtown denver, and I've seen this exact scenerio play out.

I don't personally do it because I only smoke on weekends, but if I'm ever downtown on the weekends, I don't even hesitate - its kind of like getting busted with an open alcohol beverage on the strip in vegas.

They are the "only" ones that make national news? Are you sure about that?

What about groups that get a lot of media attention (law enforcement, politicians, famous people in Hollywood, etc.)?

I doubt that the percentage of pro athletes, or of cops, or of politicians, is much different than the percentage of the general population who get into situations like this. We have this fascination with tearing down "celebrities"; but you can't blame a guy who didn't finish high school for not being smart enough to avoid risky situations.

EDIT: And you can't get blood from a turnip.

If she got a criminal conviction first, then it would probably be a cake walk to collect thru civil court.
