The motor is a supercharged 1993 Ford 5.0 w/ 30k mile on the short block prior to motor mods and installation. It made 389.2 SAE corrected RWHP on a Dynojet dyno running 6psi at 5200ft altitude. Using a 10% driveline loss number translates this into about 432 Crank HP.

Which is only slightly more than the LS2. The LS7 is to the LS2 what the LS6 is to the LS1. And considering the much better torque curve (not to mention higher HP) of the LS2 compared to the LS1, I have no doubt that an unboosted LS7 will pwn that all over the place. Boost the LS7... *drools*

And how much does that car cost? My car only cost me $5400 + 1600 for the supercharger. Even a v8 conversion only goes for about 10 grand. Plus my car handles better and is more fun to drive than any car I have ever driven. Nothing can touch it for it's price.

I.E. It's a pussy car. It really irks me when people try to take little tiny fuel-efficient, sporty-type cars and ATTEMPT to turn them into something they aren't; a real drag strip car or autocross car.

The Miata is a tiny, light, fuel efficient, fun little car. Leave it at that!!! It will never be a 500+ H.P. Chevelle at the drag strip. It will never be a Lotus Elan on an autocross track.

Be happy with what you've got and stop trying to turn your little chick car into some Butch *** monstrosity.

it's ok.. I don't mind the Miata, but I don't love it!

I'd probably take a new Mazdaspeed over that one

It's still a miata, so it's still girly. It could pump out 800 horses at the wheels with AWD, but it's still girly because it's a miata (it just LOOKS girly, regardless of how fast it is). I'd still like one though. I'd really love to have a super charged miata because it would be fun as hell to drive, and I could personally get over the girly looks knowing how damn fun it is.
