I am one of those cheap people that buys el cheapo memory. No brand names like Kingston, Polo, Tommy etc...
Anyway, I have two sticks of different PC133-128meg -- both of them from different unknown name brands.
Now, the question..... is there a program out there that is FREE and gives the memory a good workout to make sure it is performing up to snuff and plays nice nice with other memory.
Also, when one buy EL Cheapo how does one know they are getting what they paid for?
Further, how does one know what to set in the memory bios settings? 9ns? 7ns? turbo?????? AUghhhh!!!
