every time I tune into Beck lately, I feel like I'm listening to an old Paul Harvey show. There is a message, but the majority of the show is a commercial.

Beck is making a grab at Jerry Springer's fan base. It's the only "logical" explanation I could come up with. Well, either that or Rupert Murdoch is attempting to pull a one-upper on Rush Limpballs.

It still amazes me that guys like this are looked upon as being representative of a point of view that is shared by millions. Scary, actually.

Yup... If Glenn Beck represented the republicans, they would have failed as a party long ago. Not that he is 100% wrong on every issue - but he is a total nutjob.

Both parties are screwing us over - true (its human nature - those in power exploit those without power) it will NEVER change, its not reps not dems , not libs not conservatives- not in ANY country is it any different, nor will it ever change.

I sometimes wonder if characters like Glenn Beck's public personality are created on purpose to provide a contrast between them and Republican leadership so that swing moderates who were once disturbed by some social Republican idealogy can still think to themselves "hey these guys are not really extremists, they're really closer to the middle b/c the deep end is populated by Coulter, Beck, etc"

Howard Stern is a comedy show - not taken seriously by anyone.

Glenn Beck is a political talk show and IS taken seriously by some people.

You mean to tell me that he is just a piece of human scum that has a talk show to show how clever he is at ridiculing people and his intention is not to share points of view and listen to other people's opinion respectfully, but to ridicule them and try to make they feel bad. What a piece of human shit. Why I had no idea. I thought he was just high strung and a bit overly sensitive. I had no idea he was human garbage.
