Gmail and Hardforum.

so im registering over @ hardforum.com and i notice, when i type my email address to register, it wont let me use my gmail account.

why do they care who the hell my email provider is?!

Why waste your time at that forum....

Because it's a free e-mail service, so you could register as many times as you want with different free e-mail accounts.

It isn't a terribly effective way to prevent this of course, because there are easy ways to get around it. But it probably takes care of some of the annoying teenagers.

Yeah including hotmail...which I'll admit I have used since I was in 4th grade, found no reason to get a new email address. I borrowed a friends university account to register, no big deal.

Kyle is full of ******, and yes, they ban all known emails... Gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc you name it

I used to use Ureach when they were free, but they disabled free service maybe 3 years ago or more. Here is a list of their current options (unless they changed again and I'm missing where they're offering free email again.)

did Gmail change their sign up policy? When I signed up I either had to give them my cell phone number, or get a sign up code from somebody already on there. Seem's like it would be pretty hard to use Gmail for spamming.

I didn't need any of that when I signed up. I think it's open to anyone now.
