That's the one thing that sucks about using google hosted domains in a business place. You don't have any control over it, if it goes down you are basically just waiting on google to fix it.
The last school district I worked for insisted that they go to a google education hosted domain because the email service was free. Within the first 2 months there was an outage and everyone was freaking out because we had no direct support contact, just the forums. Eventually we got in contact with someone on the phone who didn't have an eta.
It was only down for about an hour, but it was a tense hour not knowing how long the outage would be. They are really reliable though, so I'm sure it's not an issue. I just thought it was funny at the time since people were calling the network admin and there wasn't anything he could do.
