Doesn't seem to be an april fools... mine is at 1385 now, and it increases with every refresh.

The April fools part is the "Infinity plus one" storage they are showing on the page. Most likely it will stop once the accounts reach the 2GB limit.

By the by, if anyone wants an account, just pm me. I have 50+ invites to give away.

What you can do is apply label to messages. For example, you can create a label "family" and then when you get a message from your family, apply the label. When you want to view messages from your "family" only, just click on the label family on the right side, and only those messages will be displayed
