I love Canon products. I have 2 digital cameras from Canon, a printer from canon, and a scanner from canon. Look at HP, though. Look like a lot of Chinese workers are going to make digital cameras . All of my Canon and HP stuffs are made in China or some other Asian countries beside Japan.

Why are two of the worst brands on top? The top three should definitely be Canon, Olympus, and Nikon.

My less than capable, POS Canon S50, has been returned to Sears. The replacement SONY DSC-V1 will be here Monday. I'll post pictures the Canon couldn't take, next to the same images executed PERFECTLY by the SONY.

Some of the sony's are quite capable (only problem w/ that V1... 5MP is alot, 512MB memory sticks... spensive out the wahzoo)... as for kodak... i don't think anything in their consumer line is good. but i do love my s400 for the extreme portablity now i just need to find money for that dSLR... hehe

A Lexar CF256-12-251 256MB 12X Compact Flash Card is $56.99. A Lexar 256MB Memory Stick is a $67.99, a whopping 16% more.

Not to mention, the memory stick has 10 flat connectors to the CF's 50 tiny pin holes. Yes, I've heard about the bent pin issues...

lol....forgot to mention it is 2x128mb memory stick. after you fill up 124mb, pop out the stick, switch it and use the other 128mb

I can swap sticks in and out of the SONY several times while waiting for the Canon to finish it's tasks. NEVER risk a bent pin in the process either!

I know first hand how abysmally slow the CF is to write to the HD via the camera. The MS beats the hell out of it there, 10X over. You've got no choice but to use a card reader with those damn things!

When I go digital I will be hard pressed to move away from Canon.

I'm still shooting an A-1 and a T-90. I got 20# of glass. Its not Ebay ready yet....

my canon digicam use sd card....still cheaper than ms.

I actually only have a ELan 7 film body from canon, but my canon lens collection is growing and as soon as PMA rolls around and the prices of 10D drop...

My digital cmaera is a sony dcs-s85.

Just about every camera is capable of taking great pictures.
It all has to do with who is using it.
