actually this computer isn't for me. But my friend was interested in custom building a computer. I told him to go Dell. I looked the the prices and features and i think its a fair deal. But i've haven't been following the market lately on computers since i got my inspirion 9300 with the 6800.
But yea. he is looking to throw a computer together for roughly 700$. Its mainly more of a student computer then a gaming computer. But i think he wants all the bells and whistles like LED fans clear cases and what not. I told you with $700 you can get a pretty decent system. I looked at what most you ppl post and are building lately. those a64 3800+ with a nvivda 7200. He doesn't need all that great of a computer. I'm not even sure if i should tell him to go Pci-E with a 700$. Whats a rough figure of what we can throw together for $700 for a light gamer.
