What if this bastard had been caught fvcking his (hypothetical) 25 year old daughter? Would you feel the same?

If they both were mutually consenting adults, why should I (or you) care?

I don't know how your family situation is, but let's make this hypothetical.

Let's say that you have a mom, a dad and a brother. Let's say that your mom decides that she wants to start fvcking your brother b/c he a nice, young handsome buck and she's tired of your dad's old balls. Your brother and your mom consent to it.

It's not happening under your roof...do you still not care? Sure, it's not the same as Jack and Jill (brother and sister fvcking up the street) but it's still the same principal.

look NFS4 it's pretty obvious that we all have a moral problem with incest... (except maybe GTaudiophile ), but having a problem with it and supporting laws banning it, especially if your brother's of age, sound mind, and ready penis... those are different things

His question said nothing about law. He asked why should I care

so how do you feel about your mom's adultry anyway? If she decided to commit adultry with someone, it is STILL none of YOUR business . . . your dad will have to deal with this situation . . .

you need to think of some better examples . . . . your's aren't applicable to the situation in Alabama we are discussing.

perhaps you are taking this too personally . . . .

If my mom decided to fvck around on my dad (or the other way around), you better damn well believe I'd have something to say about it. That's for damn sure.

Sure I would care! (Edit: because I would then be close to this particular situation) But... Do I feel that either or both of them should be locked up for 10 years? No, they should not. This would be a "crime" without a victim (well, the only victim would be the person or persons locked up.)

I do not feel that the government has the right to make the decision on this matter.

I NEVER said that I was for locking the guy up. I've never said that. I just said that the "act" of fvcking a sibling was wrong. I have said on at least two occassions that 10 years is a stiff punishment.

But morally, I think it's fuggin' wrong.

well thats the thing, if you lived in 'bama and were in this situation you should care, your mother and brother would be going to jail, but Astaroth33 and I are of the opinion the reach of the law should stop before the lives of private, consenting adults

if there were no laws however, you can care or not care, but you can't do much, and should not do much about it

Do you have to be RIGHT there in the thick of things to be disgusted by it? I see things all over the world that disgust me (legal and illegal). Just b/c I'm not physically or emotionally attached to something doesn't mean that I can't have a moral objection to it.

I have no siblings, no kids, and to my knowledge, my parents never abused me, so as far as I am concerned, I can approach the subject with some distance.

I don't think incest is healthy or moral in terms of Christian morals. (But heck, isn't there incest in the Bible? Didn't Adam & Eve's kids have to boink each other to create population?) I just think a case study...entering the lion's den so-to-speak, might be fun for sh!ts & giggles? Ya think?

I don't think the majority of homosexuals is by choice. I think they were born with that trait. So that would be like God creating someone to be gay and disapproving of it.

And any of us should care what the Bible says, why?

I'm gay. This is public knowledge, and has been for years. I grew up in a church, reading the Bible. If I could be straight, I would be. Being gay isn't exactly a walk in the park. It's not a choice for me. God knows I've tried to change.

But anyway, this thread is about incest, not homosexuality. They sometimes cross, and I don't see anything wrong with homosexual incest especially, but that's not the discussion being focused on in this thread.

Letsee, OTHER than the Jewish Laws - which have ZERO to do with christians - and "st Paul" (a self-confessed fanatic Jew turned christian), it is strangely silent.

Wouldn't you think Jesus would have mentioned it if it was important?

I said that if he hadn't been fvcking around with this sister that he wouldn't have had to worry about it. I never said it was a just punishment.

That being said, TO ME it is just wrong. I don't give a sh!t what the Bible says (Ticket to Hell), I don't give a sh!t what the law says, I don't care what your granny Ida May says...TO ME it's just wrong.

We all have our own set of morals and standards that we live by. Every one of us does. EVERY ONE! We all have things that we WILL and WILL NOT do no matter what. It's human nature. I would never cheat on my GF or my wife (if I were married), I'd never kill a man, I've never done marijuana or used any kind of illicit drugs, I've never been drunk nor do I plan on it and I don't think that fvcking your siblings is right.

PERIOD.

More hypothetical's, in Alabamee of course:

Lets say the wh0re mom gets tired of the dad's willy. Goes out & find a willing stud, who happens to be the son she gave up for adoption 25 years ago because...we'll lets face it, a ho is always a ho.... They get caught, find out they're related. Do they deserve 10 years?

Or what if the guy in the OP's post found the broad in a bar, didn't know she was his sis, and was just tired of his wife. So he took her home & meat-plowed her then found out she was his sis. Would they deserve 10 years then?

If you answered no, then you're a hypocrite and expect the law to suit your double standards. If you answered yes, then why do you even care? They're both adults. If one of them has been "fixed", or if any conception occurs and they abort it, there is zero chance of them "contaminating" your precious gene pool, therefore, that issue is negated, move on.

Let's face it. With the "zero-moral-value" tramps that are being "raised" today. The likelihood of someone growing up & banging their brother or sister or cousin is increasing exponentially. Within the next 20 years, pre-conception DNA testing will have to become mandatory to abate a world full of retards.

When you think about it, if you have no problems with homosexuality then it's sort of hipocritical to be against sex between consenting *any* adults.

I personally think that homosexuality is not morally wrong but I don't hate people who do. I do think that homosexuality isn't right on a certain level (basically, it should be clear that men and women belong together -- the parts just don't "fit" right on a man and a man relationship) but it's normal on a higher level (God seems to have design the world to have variety -- variety is the spice of life).

Anyways, I think what some people are saying is:

if you think that consentual incest is digusting and wrong, then what makes you so different from people who think homosexuality is disgusting and wrong? And if you make hateful statements about such people then it's sort of like the pot calling the kettle black.

I hate when people say this (bolded). Please read Leviticus.

God's design is to let you have free will and choose what you want. Just because you choose something doesn't mean he approves.

I don't think the majority of homosexuals is by choice. I think they were born with that trait. So that would be like God creating someone to be gay and disapproving of it.

Well read the fvcking Bible. It is pretty clear.

Letsee, OTHER than the Jewish Laws - which have ZERO to do with christians - and "st Paul" (a self-confessed fanatic Jew turned christian), it is strangely silent.

Wouldn't you think Jesus would have mentioned it if it was important?

If you think Jewish laws have nothing to do with cristians you do not understand Christianity at all.
