Ah the Religious that are running this Country at their finest. enjoy:
Thank God for the bombing of London's subway
Thank God for IEDs!
And you want to be our President
I'd rather vote for Hillary.
Maybe.
The first line is his, the next 2 are these GHF idiots.
I took his post as saying that these are the kinds of people running the country.
They're getting closer and closer day-by-day.
 That's total BS.
Oh, so you think that there isn't a Christian Fundamentalist movement within our Federal Government? If you don't, you need to get your head out of the sand.
That's NOT what he said.
He said the people that make up GHF's are the kinds of people running the country. If you can't realize the difference between these two kinds of people, you need to get
your head out of the sand.
Notice where I said "Closer and closer"???? That means that they're not there yet, but getting there. Got it? Good.
No, it's still not true. You obvioulsy don't understand the positions of these morons. Here's a clue...
Thank God for the bombing of London's subway
Thank God for IEDs!
Sorry, but Falwell and Robertson blamed 9/11 on homosexuals. I see ZERO difference.
Edit: The only difference I see is that Falwell and Robertson didn't openly display pleasure in seeing the homosexuals die.
I'm sorry, didn't know Falwell and Robertson were running the country, or even the likes of them.
You just fail to see the difference between people like GHF and the religious fundamentalist you speak of. Then again, people like you and dave seem to see what you want to see, and then multiply it by 1000. "Things are getting worse," "in ten years atheism will be illegal," "homosexuals will be burned at the stake."
Look, some people don't want the term marriage to be mixed with homosexuality. It's not going any further than that, in fact, in 10 years people will become more open to the idea. It takes time, they are evolving, if you will. You're trying to force a way of thinking on them, and they are rejecting it. Like Bush, democracy, and Iraqi's. It just takes time, another generation. It's not getting worse, it's getting better. Just gradually, and more slowly than you like.
These people, like GHF, are a very small minority, with little to no politcal power. They are in no way "running this country," nor are they in the same group of the religious fundamentalist of which you and dave perceive.
What I would like to know, is why people like yourself and dave wish to subconsciously view the "christian fundamentalists" in an overly-multiplied manner, as shown here. It's as if you wish they are worse than they are, you want them to continue moving further and further away from the principals this country was founded. It's as if you want to see them crucify homosexuals. You're disappointed if they show even the slightest form of common sense and compassion, because that conflicts with your perception of them. Your fear has led to hatred, just like those who associate with GHF, just on the opposite spectrum. Stop being scared and you will find yourself a happier person, because the truth is you have nothing fear, but fear itself of course.
