Okay, and how much snow do you expect to have to shovel this winter, and how much salted road damage to your vehicles?
There's something to be said for living a little more north, between the two temperature extremes. At the same time, I'll take 105F (as long as I have A/C) over living in Canada in winter.
Nevermind the crops I could grow, where perennials don't get killed by winter freezing temps, longer growing season that just needs some shade and more frequent watering. Even so, a little bit north would be better still.
