I can't even imagine 42C, that's just not humanly right that anyone has to be subjected to that. Hottest I ever witnessed was 39C when I went down south to go to Canada's Wonderland with some friends. We spent the whole time in the water park because all the other rides just made us sick. Water park was PACKED. TBH we didn't even really enjoy ourselves that much, we were just trying to stay cool the whole time. Kinda got unlucky that it ended up being a heat wave. I guess it's better than pouring rain and the park closing down. There was one water slide that had a leaky supply pipe so we kept going on that one because during the 2 hour wait you were at least having water splashing on you from the pipes above. Crazy to think some people have to work physical jobs in that kind of temperature, and have to wear clothes such as long pants and long sleeves too. I would just die. I'm not a fan of working in the extreme cold either but if I had to pick one I'll pick the cold, at least once you get moving it's not that bad, it's getting started that's hard.
