Wonder what's holding them back from releasing the Quest for Glory series.....

Oh man, it really is one of the best games ever made. EVER.
Why the hell are there not more games like this? The publishers must know we'd all flip out and buy them... so where's the funding?
Fenixgoon called it. Nearly all games need to be snack-wrapped in little packages now, and the shorter attention spans are making big companies more money.
on the contrary - with the popularity of relatively mindless games today, i think you'd be hard-pressed to have someone put up capital for an RPG with 5000 pages of dialogue like PS:T. a damn shame, really.
:wub:BG2
Dumb question, I know, but what about this game makes it better/worse than Baldur's Gate?
I've played BG but not PS:T. Just wondering.
Nordom: Attention; Morte. I have a question. Do you have a destiny? A purpose?
Morte: Is Annah still wearing clothes?
Nordom: Affirmatory.
Morte: Then the answer is yes.

I still think The Temple of Elemental Evil is the best translation of D&D rules worked into a CRPG. It deserves a solid place next to all the classic Black Isle and Bioware D&D games of the past, IMO.Just an FYI (Icewind Dale) update on this.

I guess only BG2 and Neverwinter Nights are all that's left, but I might be missing something a series.
Has anyone had success running Planescape or BG2 in WINE? What would the system requirements be?? Thanks!

Does the GOG version and its cd check removal present issues with using mods?
